Product Description

FeR Miniatures : Fahrenheit Miniatures - Chasseur à Cheval de la Garde Impériale, 1810-1815

75mm resin figure.

Figure requires assembly and panting.

The Mounted Chasseurs of the Imperial Guard was a French light cavalry regiment from the Consular and First Empire periods. They originated from the Guides recruited by Napoleon Bonaparte during his Italian Campaign of 1796.

From the beginning of the Napoleonic Wars and until their final end at the Battle of Waterloo in 1815, the Chasseurs took part in many of the most important battles whose names still are synonymous with that dramatic conflict. Marengo, Austerlitz, Eylau, Wagram, Borodino or Dresden, all are glorious episodes in the record of this legendary regiment.

The miniature portrays a trooper of this regiment in full dress.
