This kitis the 5th volume of the limited and enumerated edition series "Stories of the History".
It represents the dog Moustache, a Barbet who since he as a puppy lived with the 40th infantry regiment of the French Army for more than 10 years, and who was the protagonist of several heroic acts during the campaigns of Napoleon's Grande Armée.
This scene, located in the battle of Austerlitz, is about the moment in which he single handled defended the regiment's dying porte-aigle, thus preventing Russian troops from storming the Eagle of the 40th Reg. This action earned him a decoration awarded by General Lannes himself.
