WHY YOU SHOULD CONSIDER BUYING THIS BUST:

– Maxime Penaud has a painter-friendly refreshing style that makes his sculpts a must
– This incredibly detailed bust allows plenty of different painting choices and styles.

– This signature resin quality allows the figure to get clean and ready in almost no time, so precious free time may be invested in what really matters: painting and having fun.

The scriptorium started to get busy very early in the day. The younger monks were always eager to prove themselves and tended to come as early as possible, trying to catch the eye of Godfred, the master illuminator, in hopes he would consider them worthy of working on one of the best manuscripts.

Brother Cassimir was distracted for a moment by some noise coming from the other corner of the room. Besides feeling a bit sorry for the misguided faith of the monks, he was concerned because their habits were lately robbing him of precious nighttime, desperately needed to complete his important and secret transcription.

Nowadays, there were less and less of his kind. Some had died of old age. Others had been exterminated by the Christian zealots and a few lucky ones simply had answered the call and returned to the sea. “Just a couple more lines before I go”, he thought. Since the dawn of man, others before him had transmitted the forbidden knowledge to future generations. It was his responsibility to prepare the coming of the one who waits sleeping in the depths of the oceans and he was not going to fail.

Another noise caught his attention, this time the unmistakable chatter of two young monks coming from the cloister. They would be there in a minute, so it was time to leave. Carefully, he rolled in the parchment and left everything as encountered with some precise quick movements perfected through the years. Before leaving, he whispered the brief usual litany that somewhat had brought him good luck. He never had been caught after all…
